Fad diets may come and go but evidence based science demonstrates that the Mediterranean diet is still one of the best ways of having a long and healthy life, preventing disease such as cancer, heart disease and diabetes. We will discuss gut health, the benefits of grains and Blue Zones (the areas in the world with the most centenarians). I will illustrate the science with feeding you Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes.
