Event theme: Men’s wellbeing special event
To tie in with International Men’s Day, What The Health? presents a men’s wellbeing special event looking at all aspects of men’s health. Join us on Tuesday 19 November where our top experts will be sharing their wit and wisdom on everything from why feelings aren’t failure and the pressures men face when it comes to their mental health, to how to feel fit without falling for food fads (or the need for protein shakes or a six-pack).
For What The Health?’s fifth panel event, hosts Toral and Amy will be joined by very special guests: Guardian columnist, actor and broadcaster Rhik Samadder(@whatsamadder), whose memoir I Never Said I Loved You was a Sunday Times bestseller and described by Matt Haig as “funny, sad and hopeful” and “full of gasp-inducing honesty about depression and family”; and Ian Marber - one of the UK’s leading nutritional therapists and joint-founder of The Food Doctor brand, author of recent book Man Food, newspaper columnist and creator of the addictive #nutribollocks on Twitter, which helps to dispel nutrition misinformation.
Please note, while this event is obviously about men, it isn’t just *for* men. If you know a man, care about a man, are related to or dating a man, join us to explore the issues that may be affecting the men in your life. And even better, bring a male friend and take advantage of our two-ticket special offer.
Ticket price includes panel event, dinner and goodie bag.
MAN FOOD and I NEVER SAID I LOVED YOU will be available to purchase on the night and Rhik and Ian will be signing books after the event.
