With a French chef and a Swiss-Croatian restaurant manager, diversity is key when it comes to The Fabulous Adventures of 698B. Each supper club revolves around a specific theme, but always with a focus on great food using British seasonal produce.

I attended the 'Fabulous Summer Time!' supper club on a Saturday night in early July. Advertised as a four course meal with 'extra bits and bobs', the menu doesn't give too much away and for the most part, simply states the ingredients. This adds to the element of surprise, as the dishes were spectacular, providing a real treat for both the mouth and eyes! The dessert, 'More than a Cherry Bakewell Tart!' was almost theatrical in its presentation and for me, it was worth going just for this memorable experience!

Compared to other supper clubs I been to, this was certainly more fun and lively and so was great for a Saturday night with friends. There was a complimentary cocktail 'Pink Pim's' and they encouraged one to BYOB. The venue was easy to get to and the other guests were interesting and friendly.

Ultimately, I can't fault the evening. The food was great, the portions generous and I'm keen to return to see how the current 'Organic' theme compares.

£44 per person.
