I’m lucky enough to have lived near Borough Market for the last 10 years. Chegworth Valley has been a firm fixture in the market over this time as well as in my cooking. Chegworth Valley is an organic family run farm in the countryside of Kent and their passion for produce is clear in the dependable and exemplary taste of their fruit and vegetables.
I originally tasted their award-winning apple and pear juices but I now rely on their market shop for my weekly shop, which provides me with both inspiration for using seasonal vegetables and fruits as well as acting as a trustworthy supplier of quality produce (including the best apples in London!). I will often wander down to their shop when I am in recipe development mode, just to see what they have, as seeing their vibrant produce always inspires me.

For those working in the food industry, Chegworth Valley also operates as a wholesale supplier and one of the highlights of my week is receiving updates about deals on their delicious seasonal produce.
I love recipes where fruit and vegetables are the focal point and Chegworth Valley really allows the produce to take centre stage.
