The Urban Kitchen is a small gourmet catering company offering a variety of cuisines but specialising in Fusion food, the blending together of two different types of cuisine. The company was started by Toral Shah who indulged her passion for food by studying all different forms of cookery at Le Cordon Bleu in London whilst at university.

 

Her interest in nutrition and healthy eating has led her to undertake an MSc in Nutritional Medicine as well as attending courses by chefs such as Jennifer Joyce and Celia Brooks Brown. Her family and friends, many of which are vegetarians, have inspired her to produce vegetarian and low fat gourmet foods as part of her repertoire.

 

The Urban Kitchen will give you a variety of menu ideas based on the type of party, number of guests and personal tastes and dietary requirements. All the food will be prepared at our kitchens if possible and will be delivered with a few simple guidelines demonstrating the presentation and serving of the food.

 

The cost for this service varies on the type of food but the total cost will include a consultation, shopping, ingredients and delivery. Should you require the services of The Urban Kitchen after delivery, there will be an extra time charge per hour of £25. Trained waiting and cleaning staff may be provided at a cost of £10 per hour.
